Keywords. Figure out what keywords they're targeting. To do this, you can use a tool like Google AdWords Keyword Planner or SEMrush. Once you have a list of keywords, plug them into Google and see what comes up.

If your competitor's website is ranking higher than yours for certain keywords, that means they're doing something right and you'll need to step up your game.

To figure out what else they might be doing, take a look at their backlink profile. This will give you an idea of where they're getting links from and how strong those links are

To check their backlink profile, you can use a tool like Majestic or ahrefs. Once you have all of this information, you can start to piece together a picture of what your competitor's SEO strategy looks like.

Head over to Google and type in your competitor's name followed by "site:". This will show you all of the pages that are indexed for their website.

Take a look at the titles and descriptions of these pages to see if you can glean any information about their SEO strategy.

Finally, check out their social media accounts. See if they're talking about their SEO efforts anywhere or if they've posted any infographics or other types of content that could give you some clues.

With just a bit of digging, you should be able to get a pretty good idea of what your competitors are up to SEO-wise. Use this information to fine-tune your own strategy and stay one step ahead!
